We are proud of the growth and development of the Adat Shalom Early Childhood Center since its inception in September 1970, and we are happy to share our philosophy and programs with you.

At Adat Shalom each child is special. We accept youngsters at their individual levels of development and design learning experiences that fit their individual interests, needs and abilities. Our goal is to make each child feel successful and competent while fostering his or her emotional, social, physical, and intellectual growth. To meet this goal, our teachers often work with children individually or in small groups and plan different activities for different children.

Being an integral part of Adat Shalom Synagogue, we also strive to give our children a positive and joyful experience in Judaism. Each week we greet Shabbat with song, story, prayer, appropriate foods and lots of enthusiasm. Holidays are highlighted by special art and sensory experiences. We encourage our children to become happy, healthy, self-respecting young people who are comfortable with their Jewish heritage and the world at large.
